Hexane-free Canola Meal

Canwell uses expeller-pressed mechanical crushing procedure. Instead of utilizing solvent extraction to remove the leftover oil from the first press meal, the seed is pressed to extract oil. In comparison to conventional pre-press solvent extracted canola meal, expeller-pressed canola meal has a greater oil content, which can range from 8-9%. As a result, it has a higher metabolizable, digestible, and net energy content. Compared to standard canola meal, which only contains 2% oil, Canwell meal contains about 10% oil. Canola meal is one of the highest energy protein components currently available because of the additional energy it provides, which increases animal bioavailability of energy by about 20%.
